Day 3

So morning routine is the first plan.  Watering all the plants, checking the security, walking Jet, making sure she has tinkle time, setting the alarms and having all my school things ready is a big job.  I got most things done and only backed up once down the alley to make sure that the garage door was closed.
I was 6 minutes late this morning and didn't have on any makeup but luckily no one expects me to be a vision of loveliness....
Coming home also has its elements.  Jet is more than ready to be rescued from her crate and spend a little yard time.  Then check the mail, and get some little house chores done before thinking about some dinner.  I need to make a grid of weekly tasks so that they can be spread out over the days.
Tonight we are going for a long walk around 7 when it is cooler and then we are going to try and complete addressing the Dallas K & A invitations.  I have quite a bit of stored up summer TV so that can be a distraction.  Need to check in with Drew tonight...

Day 2

Wednesday

Certain elements of weariness are right on the edge of each breath and movement as I start to grasp life without daily backup.  Morning time necessitates checking the house, watering, Jet supervising, gathering my stuff, and getting gone while leaving everything secure.  Whew...

The Beginning

Life has a lot of firsts.

Today I start with the same old me working in a different frame of reference.
We have said our farewells, laughed, cried, consoled each other, and danced to vintage rock for the last 5 days.  Alex and Keri are honeymooning, Drew is tackling the E-Sports world.  Royce and Jessie headed back to Austin this morning.  I went to work.

I live alone now with Jet. We are two vintage babes with a variety of interests.
